Term 4 - February 2024
Welcome to Term 4! Our topic this term is 'Adventurers' - I am sure that the children will thoroughly enjoy this topic!
The team in Midford this term are Mrs Viranyi, Mrs Lamb & Miss Bennett.

Our timetable continues pretty much unchanged from last term. You may notice 'WFA' sessions - these are 'Writing for Accuracy' sessions, where the children will aim to write a dictated sentence correctly - so we will be doing lots of spelling & grammar revision!
Please do continue to support us at home by completing the weekly spellings & timetables.
Please continue to use the following apps / websites at home to support your child's learning.
This term all our Literacy work will be based on the book 'Oliver & the Seawigs' by Philip Reeve.
Don't be tempted to read too far ahead though - don't spoil the surprise! There are lots of other adventure books available. Why don't you take a look at some of the books on the link below?
We will continue to work on our Little Wandle phonics scheme daily. Please see below for more details.
We will be focusing on fractions in Maths lessons, so you may find the following website helpful for you to use at home.
