Term 2 is set to be a fun and exciting term. Our History Topic of The Tudors will be brought to life by a Tudor Visitor who will teach us lots about life in the Tudor times and give us the opportunity to dress up like a Tudor!
As the term progresses we will edge closer to the fantastic Christmas Festivities at St Nicholas. Watch out for information about our Christmas Decoration Making afternoon, the KS2 Christmas Pantomime and the Christmas Carol Concert. Mrs Hinkley is particularly looking forward to this year's Christmas lunch!

In P.E. we will continue with Football on Mondays, taught by a specialist coach, and we will start Yoga lessons on Wednesdays.
The Tudors
In History we will be learning about the Tudors. We will learn where the Tudors fit on a timeline and also learn about what life would have been like during this time. We will also learn about King Henry VIII and his six wives.

Year 5 had a wonderful time on Wednesday 15th November when a Tudor teacher travelled through time to visit our class. We found out so much information and had a wonderful time! Here are some photos from our day. The chance to dress up in Tudor clothes was nearly everyone's favourite part. Mrs Hinkley even got involved and enjoyed dressing up in armour!
