Year 6: Severn
Welcome to Severn Class 2018-2019
Year 6 - Miss D
Our Topic this term has been Extreme Earth. We have learnt about earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis.
Congratulations to all of those Year 6 candidates who have been voted in for Equalities Team, Eco Committee and School Council positions. We were very impressed with the quality of speeches, and the large number of children who put themselves forward. Well done Severn Class!

Our Class Values
In our work on values we have produced a class wordsearch using some of the words we felt were important in our school. When you are in the hall next, have a look and see how many words you can find. We have made it quite tricky - some are backwards diagonal! Good luck!
We are learning about Volcanoes later on this term. Here are some websites to find out more information.
Well done to all of you who are working ridiculously hard on your spellings!

PRIME NUMBER CHALLENGE
What time can you get?
Thank you to Mr Cross for coming in for our DT work on cams and pulleys. We had a great time and made some really interesting cam toys.
Our firework pictures made using protractors and compasses to certain specifications at our parents event turned out really well. Thank you to everyone who came in to support us.
Year 6 lay a poppy wreath at Radstock War Memorial in memory of all of those who have died for us to have a future.
Our topic this term is the Ancient Maya.
