Achievement For All

Achievement for All Program
We are part of an amazing programme called 'Achievement for All' and are just starting our fourth year.

Many of our families are part of the programme and we work together closely, having regular, longer meetings called 'structured conversations' throughout out the year.  These may seem a little daunting but they are a great way to understand your child both at home and school and from these we are able to work together to improve outcomes. Parents' who have been part of the programme find these meetings invaluable.

If you would like to find out more, please speak to your child's class teacher.

Quality Mark Award

At the beginning of our third year we achieved our 'Quality Mark'.  A recognition of our work with the school community to improve outcomes for all children, regardless of their background.

So what is Achievement for All (A4A)

Achievement for All is a leading not-for-profit organisation that works in partnership with early years settings, schools and colleges, improving outcomes for all children and young people vulnerable to underachievement regardless of background, challenge or need.

The A4A Approach

Founded in 2011, the mission of Achievement for All is simple: to close the unacceptable gaps at every level of the education system. Empowering young people, as well as their teachers, parents and carers, the charity works to transform lives through personal coaching, professional support, and a leading network of educational experts.

AfA ethos

At the heart of everything are the principles of:

  • aspiration,
  • access attainment
  • achievement – building the core in every child

These principles drive our programmes, which are adapted to suit the needs of the children and young people with whom we work, from pre-school to post-16.
